HCMC and friends

What a lovely day we had, although at mid 90s bit warm since no air in most places! Our friend Tram met us at hotel and joined us for English Mass at cathedral.  We got there just as finishing up baptism service so saw bit of that then church quickly filled up for Mass.  They did have some fans around but with packed church VERY warm. .

Next stop was for a cold drink and bit to eat as everything closes for 2 hours at lunch time. . .

Small world incident...group that sat at table next to us on Medical Mission re cataracts and he graduated from Emory and daughter with him in school in St Louis. Never know who you will meet when you travel the world.  ☺
Next to the park across from the Reunification Palace awaiting it to open after lunch.  Tram had never visited so we did quick tour with her.  She was impressed with its beauty and it is beautiful.

On the way to HCMC Museum we saw accident and appeared that a window washer fell and awaiting ambulance. He was conscious and sitting up so hopefully not seriously injured.

Considering all the motor scooters it is amazing you do not see more ambulances or accidents.

The HCMC Museum is a collection of history of the city.  Very interesting as covers from number of angles via time lines displays.

Then back to hotel for cold drinks and goodbyes till next time. .

Tomorrow is travel day to Hue.  So now to pack and hope weight limit not an issue 😄
