Bit warm

Well it was 95 here today (feels like 103 when factor in humidity) finally the Vietnam we remember from last year 😂
Today we celebrated the opening of baseball season...3 strikes and your out. Strike 1, we were given wrong time for orphanage tour so missed it. Strike 2..Presidential Palace closed due to Asian Justice Meeting being held there. But met some VN students studying  tourism who wanted to talk with us and find out what we thought  of Saigon. Strike 3..Notre Dame Cathedral closed by time got there!  However we did find Central Post Office open to visit. .

And next to it is "book street".  Think 1st time I have seen my husband visit so many book stores and not by a book!!

We also visited Diamond Department store...looked like Macy's except for food court on top floor.

Hard to get mind around prices and remember when spending 1,000,000 Dong really only about $50.  A dress for 2,050,000 just seems outrageous 😄

Off to farewell dinner, but that will be separate blog.
